As a part of the Bellflower Unified School District, I am committed to helping our students build future success by providing them equal access to quality staff, courses, activities, services, and resources based on their individual needs. My goal is to ensure that our teachers and staff have the knowledge, skills, expertise and resources to ensure continuous improvement for all students so that they are prepared to be globally competitive. I am devoted to creating a respectful environment that fosters learning through positive relationships and engagement among students, adults, and our diverse community.

MEET BRAD
Born in Pomona, California in 1986 and raised in low-income housing in Claremont, I witnessed firsthand how broken public policy can shape—and often limit—the lives of young people. From an early age, I became deeply aware of how government systems could either uplift or suppress opportunity, especially in education and economic mobility.
In 2001, my stepfather moved our family—my mother and five brothers—to Long Beach. It was here, at Lakewood High School, that I found community, stability, and purpose. I later earned my associate degree from Long Beach City College and went on to graduate with a degree in Political Science from Cal State Long Beach. Eventually, I was proud to buy a home in the city that gave me so much.
Every challenge I’ve faced, every lesson I’ve learned, fuels the work I do today—advocating for students, strengthening our schools, and being the kind of public servant our community deserves.
Being elected to the Bellflower Unified School District Board has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I’m committed to representing the very best of what our district can offer—our students, our families, and our future.
